For such a long time.... soooo long 😳 I thought I had to show up as this polished, buttoned up, tiptoeing professional in order to build the business... It was exhausting. 😮‍💨 No one necessarily told me that's how it needed to be done. Well... maybe a couple people did. But really, it was what I was seeing all around me. After many years... far more than I'd like to admit... I finally just decided to be me and show up completely. And that's when everything started shifting 😊 Even just the weight of that pressure lifting off my shoulders and chest was life changing. So liberating. 🙌 And suddenly, I just showed up. As me. And people started noticing. I wasn't trying to impress anyone. I just cared about people, served my team, stayed focused on being a blessing to the people I encountered, spoke the truth -- and the right people started to reach out. 💛 I'm not gonna pretend I've reached all of my goals and I'm living my ultimate dream, but my business doesn't stress me out anymore. 😌 I'm actually excited to start my day. ☀️ I can now feel good about inviting people to partner with me, knowing that they don't have to feel that pressure and that heaviness I lived with for so long. What I've learned is that people typically follow your lead. And because I show up authentically, it kind of invites others to do the same. A sort of permission slip to be authentic. 🗝️ I don't know if you've felt that heaviness. That knot in the pit of your stomach. 😔 That feeling of dread when you hit those DMs. The constant need to perform, like a circus animal. 🎪 If you've been feeling even half of these things, I'd love to hear about it.
