Here is a video of myself soldering some 14k yellow gold pcs of round wire onto the bottom side of a bezel. I am using 14kye yellow easy flow solder. We do this to create what is called an under gallery. The undergallery provides support and structure for not only the mounting of the stone but sometimes provides support for other portions of the mounting.
